Water Quality

Optimatics analyses water quality parameters such as water age, chlorine residuals and disinfection by-products to ensure that water is kept at the high standard required by water authorities. Optimatics can carry out broad level water quality studies over entire water systems or create specific tools to optimize water quality on a daily basis.

By including water quality measures in the optimization process, a least cost solution can be established that has these paramerters within allowable limits. To achieve this, the optimization process analyses a combination of disinfection, operational strategies and water source selection to find the optimal solution.

Optimatics awarded major contract

The City of Bend Public Works Department (Oregon, USA) has awarded Optimatics the contract for its Water System Master Plan Update Optimization Study.
