Don Horsell, Chairman of the Board
Don has over 43 years experience in consulting engineering and 9 years in government. In his consulting experience Don was involved in a wide range of engineering projects across all states and territories of Australia as well as a number of overseas countries, particularly in the South East Asian Region. Don was Director of Operations for PPK Australia Pty Ltd and was Chairman, Advisory Committee, Civil Engineering Department, University of Adelaide. Other Board positions previously held include the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Australian Federation of Basketball. Don is currently a Member of the Advisory Council for Parsons Brinckerhoff Australia Pty Ltd and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Prof. Graeme Dandy, Non Executive Director and Technical Consultant: Optimization and Prediction
An internationally recognized expert in the field of water system optimization and prediction with over 38 years experience, Graeme completed a PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His expertise includes ANNs, GAs and Linear Programming and he is currently a Professor at University of Adelaide School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering. Graeme is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Prof. Angus Simpson, Non Executive Director and Technical Consultant: Optimization and Surge Analysis
Angus is an expert in surge analysis having completed a PhD in this field at the University of Michigan. As an internationally recognized expert in water systems hydraulics and optimization with over 33 years experience, Angus is currently a Professor at University of Adelaide School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering. Other Board positions held include the Water Industry Alliance and the Australian Water Association. Angus is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
John Gransbury, Non Executive Director and Technical Consultant: Irrigation Systems Optimization
John is a qualified Civil Engineer with over 25 years experience specialising in irrigation design and project management. He is a Certified Irrigation Designer (Agricultural) and President of the Australian Chapter of the American Society of Irrigation Consultants. John is currently the Managing Director of irrigation and water resource consultants Hydro-Plan.
